Classical Hatha Yoga

Growth is the intention of life!
Hatha Yoga

Classical Hatha Yoga is a fundamental tool for personal growth and complete inner wellbeing. The word Yoga means ‘Union’. It is not an exercise or a practice. It is a certain way of being.

In Hatha Yoga, ‘Ha’ means Sun & ‘Ta’ means Moon. Hatha Yoga is a whole science of bringing a balance between the Sun & the Moon which are within us. In other words, Hatha Yoga aims to bring a balance between the Pingala and the Ida : the two basic Nadis or Energy Channels in the human system. The Ida & the Pingala represent the different qualities in nature: Pingala represents the masculine nature and Ida represents the feminine nature and both these are the Sun and the Moon. Hence, Hatha Yoga aims to bring a balance between the Pingala (Sun) & the Ida (Moon). This balance is very essential for a person who is thinking in terms of higher energies in life.
